A Rising Tide Quest Walkthrough

To complete the quest without wasting time searching around the map, simply follow the steps below in order.

Step 1: Locate the Foreman's Apartment in Buried City

Your journey begins in Buried City, one of the most densely built areas in the game. Your objective here is to find the Foreman's Apartment, which is located just south of Piazza Roma.

When you arrive in this part of the city, you'll notice two apartment buildings standing side by side. The correct building is the northern apartment block, which is partially barricaded. Reaching the apartment itself is slightly tricky if you're approaching from ground level, but there is a faster and easier route.

The best way to enter the apartment is from the rooftop of the building northeast of the target location. Climb up to the roof of that building and look around until you spot a zipline. This zipline leads directly toward the apartment complex you need to reach.

Ride the zipline across the gap and watch carefully for a platform on the right side. When you see it, jump off the line at the right moment. If you time your jump correctly, you'll land directly inside the apartment area you need.

If you miss the platform or prefer a safer route, don't worry. You can simply enter the building and use the interior stairs to reach the apartment. This route takes a bit longer, but it will still get you to the same place.

Once you're inside the Foreman's Apartment, walk toward the back of the room. You'll find a digital logbook sitting on a table. Interact with it to collect the information needed for the quest.

After you've read the logbook, your objective in Buried City is complete. Now it's time to extract from the map and move on to the next location.

Step 2: Travel to Dam Battlegrounds

The next phase of the quest takes place in the Dam Battlegrounds map.

Once you deploy into the area, head toward the Power Generation Complex, which is the large point of interest located at the northern end of the map. This facility is easy to spot thanks to its large industrial structures and elevated platforms.

The good news is that you don't need to complete any complicated objective here. Simply entering the Power Generation Complex area will automatically trigger the next stage of the quest.

Once the update registers that you've reached the complex, your objective will change and direct you toward the next location.

Step 3: Enter the Controlled Access Zone

Your next destination is the Controlled Access Zone, which is located just south of the Power Generation Complex.

There are a few different ways to enter this area. Some players approach it via ziplines coming from the swamp region, while others choose to go through the Power Generation Complex itself. However, the quickest and most direct method is to find a ladder located on the exterior of the building.

Search along the outer wall of the structure until you locate the ladder leading downward. Climb down carefully until you reach the lower level.

When you arrive at the bottom, look up, and you'll immediately notice a large destroyed ARC unit hanging from the ceiling. This is a clear indicator that you're in the correct location.

Now you're ready to begin the final step of the quest.

Step 4: Investigate the Foreman's Reconstruction Project

The last part of the mission involves uncovering clues about the Foreman's Reconstruction Project.

However, before you can access the final clue room, you'll first need to locate a fuel cell.

Start by heading down to the lowest level of the Controlled Access Zone. This section of the facility is partially flooded, and you'll notice several damaged ARC units scattered around the area.

The fuel cell does not always appear in the exact same location. It can spawn in multiple possible spots throughout the lower level, so you may need to search around the room before you find it. Check carefully around machinery, corners, and debris until you locate it.

Once you pick up the fuel cell, retrace your steps and climb the stairs back up toward the upper level.

Look along the eastern wall for a fuel cell compartment. When you find it, insert the fuel cell into the slot.

As soon as the power is restored, you'll see a locked door open in the room directly ahead, visible through a window.

Step 5: Collect the Final Evidence

With the door now unlocked, enter the newly opened room.

Inside, you'll find a whiteboard displaying a map that explains how Dam Battlegrounds supplies power to the Spaceport. This board contains the final piece of evidence tied to the Foreman's project.

Interact with the whiteboard and take a photo of the map. This action completes the final objective of ARCR Items the quest.
