The Corrupted Reaper is worth building a session around in Season 14, especially if the Mythic Horadric Seal is the prize you're after. At the Pandemonium Threshold in Zarbinzet, the real advantage isn't just killing the boss quickly. It's making every clear pay out twice. Players looking through D4 items options will notice that this seal sits in a different league, so a casual run here and there usually won't cut it. Bring keys, set the table properly, and settle in for a run of repeats.
Start with Lair of Plenty on the War Plans Command Table. This is the piece that changes the rhythm of the farm. It raises Monster Power by one, then gives an extra Hoard Chest after a Lair Boss kill, except for Belial. The Reaper therefore leaves two chests behind. Each one takes a Superior Lair Key, but you get two separate loot chances without having to travel back, summon again, and run through another fight. Lair of Runes is a sensible partner node. It also adds Monster Power and improves the odds for selected Runes, which gives the run some value even when the seal doesn't show up.
Don't head to Zarbinzet with a handful of keys and hope for the best. The chest openings are where the pressure lands, not the boss entry itself. Fill your supply through the Glints of Hope reputation board, where the Mystery Greater Archetype Cache can provide Superior Lair Keys after your reputation is capped. Deathtoll Chambers can help top up the pile too. A practical setup looks like this.
Golden Hoard is what makes the run feel good even on a dry streak. Standard gear from Hoard Chests becomes gold, while Unique and Mythic rewards stay in the pool. With two chests per Reaper clear, it's possible to pull roughly twenty to forty million gold from one encounter. That's a tidy return for a boss you're already running. Legendary Seals you don't need can also go to a vendor for around thirteen million gold apiece. It adds up fast, and it means an unlucky stretch still leaves your character better funded than before.
If you've got extra War Plans points, put them into Two by Two, Greater Nemesis, and Ultimate Nemesis. After a Hoard Chest is looted, these nodes can open a portal to a Nemesis Lair, where several Lair Bosses wait at once. Those fights can be messy, but the reward potential is hard to ignore. Expect RNG to set the pace; some players may use around fifty keys before seeing the Mythic Horadric Seal. Still, a stocked route, double chests, gold conversion, and Nemesis portals make this one of the stronger ways to chase D4 items cheap while keeping every run worthwhile.
